ARIZONA sophomore left fielder Johnny Field has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week and teammate junior right-handed pitcher Kurt Heyer has been named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.

After the hammers have whistled through the air and the dust has settled, Marissa Minderler from USC was crowned the Pac-12 Champion in the hammer throw. In fourth place was Arizona senior Taylor Bush. That was her best finish of the season and quite remarkable for someone who came to Arizona as a sprinter.

The Pac-12 Conference announced its weekly outdoor track & field athletes of the week. ARIZONA claims two weekly honors, while ARIZONA STATE and WASHINGTON claim one apiece.

UCLA freshman third baseman Stephany LaRosa was named Pac-12 Softball Player of the Week, and ARIZONA sophomore pitcher Shelby Babcock was named Pac-12 Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Oregon's Alex Kosinksi has been named Pac-12 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Arizona's Brigetta Barrett and Stephen Sambu and ASU's Chris Benard were also honored this week.

WASHINGTON STATE senior outfielder Derek Jones has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week and ARIZONA sophomore pitcher Konner Wade has been named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.

Arizona junior Aubree Cristello and Utah freshman Kailah Delaney have been awarded Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week and Pac-12 Special Performance of the Week honors, respectively.

ARIZONA junior third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week and UCLA freshman left-handed pitcher Grant Watson has been named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.
